We have had a fault with our home phone line which meant we were unable to make or recieve calls for 3 days,am \i entitled to compensation if so how do I go about this?

When I had a fault, I think they phoned me to find out if everything was now okay etc and I complained then and was put straight through to someone who was able to give me compensation with no arguing! From memory she cancelled out the bill that was due to be paid.0

The problem was a corroded wire in the local exchange.0 -
