Don't forget there's a whiskers pack as well, and £1.33 back if it traces through quidco, that helped me out on my last cats. Trying to save all teh money I can to get my new 2 fixed - do't want them roaming when they're older. Been told its going to cost at least £100 :(

didn't the quidco one end? I couldn't find it last time I looked

No, I haven't received mine yet either - but post here always seems a bit delayed.

Maybe so many Moneysavers applied for it that they couldn't keep up with the demand?

But at least I'm a week closer to getting my new cat!

Great. What sort of cat is it? Or is it a Kitten?

If its a kitten I strongly advise the white crystal litter, much more smell free! And maybe a touch of soil if it really little so it's soft.

If you've got a cat flap of course all the better! My plastic door has rivetted panels on it so couldn't get a cat flap apparently(unless we bought a new door).

I'm thinking I will only be having one cat this time - well, I'm thinking that until I get to Cat's protection League on the 28th Feb! Never did have much will power when it comes to cats - I quarantined 2 back from Germany many years ago, one of which was feral, and raised 2 farm kittens who kept the house full of mice and birds for years.

Don't know yet - I won't let myself go and look at the ones at CPL until the 28th, when I'm free to spend some time settling in a new cat - probably going to be a half grown one, I think, as there aren't many new kittens around just now.

I haven't tried the white crystal litter - I always used to buy the light weight one (at Tescos), which was white too - it wasn't such hard work for the cats to scratch around in it. That's not the one you mean is it? It worked out quite economical, I think.

As for cat flaps - that's how I knew I hadn't committed to having no cats when the last one died - a year on, and I still have cat flaps on front and back doors which make the house really draughty, and freeze my feet off at the ankles, but just couldn't bring myself to take them off!

I did see one little cat that I liked on the CPL web site for this area, but they couldn't keep her for me for 3 weeks. I'm minding my grandsons and their dog for a few days next week - after that, I shall go and look, see who wants to come home.
