Ahhh bless my DS, he came up to me and said 'mum you collect them £2 coins dont you?' . . . . umm YES!!! and he pulled one out of his pocket for me I did give him 2 x £1 coins in return but thats another nice shiny £2 coin in th pot

Im really not well today my throat is felling really painful and i fell asleep this afternoon which as an insomniac is an amazing feat :eek: so I must be really unwell (its hard to tell)

Thanks Sue, as the kiddies will be 14 & 18 next x-mas they may well just be getting bags of £2 coins each:rotfl:

If you do give them £2 coins, you could always wrap them individually and put them in a stocking We did this with a few £1 coins with DH's niece and nephew when they were young and used a load of cellotape, oooo it was funny watching them try to get them open :rotfl:

We did something similar at Easter hiding them in little plastic eggs around the house. I don't think they'll ever grow up until I do !!

p.s I hate cellotape !!!

Bless DD1 she found 14p down the sofa in the conservatory. She didn;t say anything, I just heard the clunks as she put the coins in the tin.:j
