Bagged up loads of change and stashed it under my bed!!!!!! Resisted counting it though. I have put it in a coffee jar and when this is full I will superglue the lid on!!! (ssshhhh, don't tell anyone but there is a £2 coin in there aswell!!)

Thanks to ellionic's declared total we now have a new total of £40,233.14.

7 X £2 coins for me today going into the New York & Chicago 2013, spending fund. Plus my usual £2 into the sealed pot. Going on walkabout of the tea rooms in work later to see what I can find on the floor

  • 56p today, massive improvement on yesterday LOL!

Is it wrong that I was tempted to take out a tenner at the cash point and buy a choccy bar, just to get some change to put in my pot?!:rotfl:

I'm still using my very old quality street jar with no lid, so my challenge for the weekend is to get a proper sealed pot. worryingly I am getting tempted to get balloons and papier mache, every time I read about panchetta pig, I have a little chuckle!

    Happy potting all!

  • Hello everyone this looks a fab idea!!! Is it too late or me to join plz!! x
  • Woweeeeeee - I cannot believe that you made over £40 grand in savings last year. Well done people.
I've just sent dd to clear my purse of any none gold coinage and she is busy adding £1.46 to the pot (1p roadkill). I was fed up that I hadn't put anything in for a couple of days.
Can hear dd asking her dad if he has any brown pennies he doesn't want. Got to love her determination.

Bless them they were brilliant. One more to go tomorrow afternoon then just the parties to do. Love seeing the kids faces and they are all so excited.

Went with the older children to see a pantomime today."Oh no you didn't!!!!":rotfl:

It was brilliant and sat back watching their faces was amazing. I really enjoyed it too.

Hope everyone has a lovely evening and the snow keeps away until the weekend. x
