I managed to pot a grand total of 6p this weekend. 5p change and 1p donated by OH - how generous! :rotfl: I also had to put 3 x £2 in the money box though which made quite a dent in my weekly budget but never mind!
We had a brilliant weekend. Spent Saturday wandering around St Ives and building sandcastles in the sun with my cousin and her beautiful daughter who were visiting from the midlands. Actually my OH did most of the sandcastle building :rotfl::rotfl:. Yesterday we had a bbq at a friends house then went for a sunny walk on the beach with the dog! I feel very refreshed and happy this morning after a great weekend with friends and family

ooooh I do hope so, sparky as I'd hate to think any were missing out.
You're doing so well, skats, press on.
I'm pleased you've sorted out your avatar, ModestyB.Delilahh wrote:End of my week, payday tomorrow and left in my purse/pockets is £6.65.
All the best to you and Mr G, Ghostlove, if you can save together it makes a huge difference.
Well done, Delilahh, by far the best way to do it then folk aren't driven to raiding their pots.
Hi there Observer!! :hello: I was starting to wonder where you'd gone so it's good to see you making an appearance, still saving too.
So pleased you had such a lovely day, LC 2, doesn't it make you feel so much better to tackle things when you're in a happier frame of mind. I hope you enjoyed the evening too.
Good to hear about your day too, Rosy, and fish & chips on the beach sounds good too!
DH & I had a restful day after Friday & Saturday, really enjoyable.
Where are you too, samtoby?? I hope your sailing was just as you'd hoped with the weather being so good too.blue_eyed_girl wrote:A bit of sunshine and everyone feels soooo much better.

Mr Ghostlove and I have just potted our first lot. With what we had in the pig and bean tin, plus everything from our purses and wallets (minus one pound coin I kept for trolleys) we potted £14.76 - that's not to be sniffed at, eh?I say we take off and nuke the entire site from orbit. It's the only way to be sure.0

Ruth, acts like all the help you've given your Sister are a joy to hear about and it's so good to hear of families pitching in at difficult times. I bet she treasures you! Treat yourself to a good day out soon, it sounds as though you really do deserve it.
