  • Hope everyone is well.

Another £2 potted. Couldnt be bothered to go to the shops for milk so into the pot it went. :j

I'm so going to have to resist the temptation to tweezer any pennies out, (obviously just to count them) maybe i should have kept a running total. i am so rubbish at this challenge i think it may have been my dowfall before.

I must not dip into my sealed pot.

33p in the pot for me today - last year I kept a running total because I'm abit OCD like that, but this year I'm going to try and be good, and not count as I go!

I tried incredibly hard to get some change out last year but couldn't! As a kid i was a dab hand at it! I even ad a job to open it offically. 2 tin openers, pair of scissors and a sharp knife - but i won in the end haha:rotfl:
  • Hello Sue-UU,

Yes, I'm up for the challenge for another year. It's second nature now really - though I don't have quite as much spare change since I've been paying towards DH's nursing home fees - but every little helps!

(Thank you for asking after him by the way - he's about the same thanks.)

Hope you are OK, also all the other "potters"!
Keeping two cats and myself on a small budget, and enjoying life while we're at it!

can i join you all please, all my virtual pennies are going to my savinsg for a deposit for a house, but i wanted to do this because we have heating oil, so it's a big lump sum all at once so i wanted to start this for next year, i'm gonna get a poundland tin but as i havnet been yet i'm using a jam jar at the mo, maybe i should stick with it and pot my £1 :D

to start me off theres 52p in the jar from change in my purse :)
