A very warm welcome, Miss Information, it's lovely to have you with us. biggrin.gif Have great fun saving. You'll find your number at the bottom of the list on post 3 of page 1. Please read through post 1as it'll let you know exactly what to do with the challenge.

*Please pop your number on your sig, it helps so very much.

Oh, I love the attitude, Flat Eric, oh's didn't ought to be keeping it to themselves anyway. ;)

...you too, Keza - things are looking good for 2012 oh wise ones!

You're off on the way to a healthy pot then, claudiac and remember - all's fair when saving! :D

Hi myteeduck and well done with your savings, all the best for that holiday! No need to tell me your No each time as it's always on your signature for me to see, for sparky too when he adds all the Totals up.

Hello again Alex, you're welcome. No need to put your daily/weekly savings on your sig - if that's what you meant? Though you probably meant adding it here on the thread which is obviously fine. If you're having problems using your signature; go to "User CP" at the lowest green bar top left, click on it, then select "Edit Signature" and away you go.

Hi everyone. Some very good totals being posted on SPC4 - I'm excited about the final biggie when everyone else has woken up and remembered to post. :j Come on, be fair, how could they forget  - I mean really....

No idea I'm afraid, Observer, but you & I will keep trying to jog em by bumping that blessed thread!! I had to grin at what you put on there earlier. I bet if any of them read that they went scurrying off again...hands to shaky to count!! :rotfl:

Thanks for that, LC 2, I got to the thread, but whereabouts on there do I look?

Good to see your own good start too, Muppet_baby, it's great starting over again - once I get a bit more used to the clatter as the money goes in the empty pots!

Here's hoping you meet that target, Helen. Not sure whether to put one for myself or not.

Patience is necessary, Ellie_B, I haven't got any either, but here's hoping we get it. :(

Patience for you too, catwoman and I'll bet there are a lot of us waiting to pounce on the £2ers.

Put a couple of pound worth of loose change in my pot today to get me started, need to get a proper pot as using a coffee mug just now so it's not sealed up :o

Tut, tut, tut, cutestkids, that's an PC sin. I hope you find a good one.;)

What a great start, skaps, well done.

4p closer, kerri, owt's better than nowt, but even nowt is good to give us NSD.

I don't blame you being more 'careful' with the tip, greenanne, and that's a wonderul idea to give the other pot away, you could even put a little money in it, if it's necessary.

Right, I'm off to bed folks, have a goodnight and a good Monday.

12 pages already....I must never go away for the weekend again!

Apparently London has some very quick roadkill collectors as I didn't see any at all while doing the tourist thing with my mum and sister. But I also have a nice little handful from the tacky souvenir purchases. :D

  • 15p went in today after grocery shopping and paying with cash. This week is meant to be easy on the purse as I only have one planned purchase of £6 and there's £7.40 in my purse. Target will be to put that spare £1.40 into the pot.
Will have to start looking more closely for 'road kill' to boost the coffers!

  • Morning everyone,

It is Mondayyyy :j and only 20 days until Xmas *runs*:rotfl:.

I have just potted my daily £3.00. I have no expenses planned for today so unlikely I will have any change left in my wallet later today.

My plan is to pot £3.00 everyday and any coins left in my wallet at the end of the day (50p, 20p, 10p, 5p). 2p and 1p go into my sons sealed pot :rotfl:. They really wanted to join the challenge, so I thought why not! lol That is the junior version of the SPC :rotfl:.

Have a lovely day everyone x

Hi everyone. It was a busy week for me last week so no time to post. But I was able to pot about £6 on Sat (including 5p road kill) and £1.36 yesterday. I do envy all of those that raid their OH's wallets. My DH almost never uses cash so never has any change :(. He has raided the pot in the past on those rare occasions when he requires change but those days are numbered! :D.

    Morning :D

I may have cheated :o Every week I draw £20 to put petrol in the car but last week on 2 of the days I didnt have to do one of my usual trips and found I still had nearly a quarter tank of petrol so only put £18 in this week and have potted the £2 :D. Have been dying to get a £2 coin lol. I even specially asked the petrol attendant lady to give me a £2 coin (she must have thought me potty!)

Then this morning as I have told OH what I was doing I also got his pocket change - approx £1.75 :D
  • Morning all

    Another 97p for me today.

Everything is so expensive at the moment and i am only just getting to the end of the month in the black so i am not sure my pot will grow much in the next few months. But i shall keep trying.

    Have a good day all.
