When I go to resolve it the options they give me are that I have already shipped the item ora refound has already be provided. I have not sold anything on ebay since last year. Make your own Pot Noodles using a flower pot, sawdust and some old shoe laces. Pour in boiling water, stir then allow to stand for two minutes before taking one mouthful, and throwing away. Just like the real thing!

if so, it might have been a 'phishing' email with a link to take you to a site that looks just like paypal - basically it cons you into giving your password.

if you did click a link from the email, i'd suggest first of all going back to paypal using a clean link, like google, then having a look. if the dispute isn't there, change your password immediately and check your other details.

if it is there, have a look at your transaction history to see if your paypal account has been hijacked.

    in all cases, contact paypal.

did you sell anything for £500 last year? people can do credit card charge-backs quite a while after the sale.

if it's nothing you've done, paypal will sort it out. they can't take something back off you if you haven't had it in the first place.

Sounds like maybe your account has been hacked?
Scammers trawl ebay for obsolete accounts, hack them and sell stuff through it.
You need to contact paypal ASAP - ideally a real person, even if it means phoning the States - and discuss this with them.

You cannot leave this otherwise you will get into all sorts of trouble.
It's BOUGHT (to Buy), not BROUGHT (to bring) AND you cannot be frauded, only DEfrauded.

Please do not buy animals from a pet store. Visit your local sanctuary or centre and give a good home to an unloved or abandoned animal.
