Is this a recent change for only iPhone users?

I visited their website on 25 November to buy train tickets and noticed the £1 booking fee, so I purchased my tickets through First Great Western instead who don't charge a fee.

I have just checked the rail ticket prices for a group of 4 adults travelling on "super off peak day returns" through The Train Line site, and was given a price of £144.40.
Only to find out that the exact same tickets would cost me only £72.20 through the National Rail Enquiries Site.
So if you are thinking of booking a ticket check first !
