I topped up my oyster card on Tuesday for £17.80 for a week of travel, my question is, can I use this on DLR's? Or is the 17.80 only for buses?
Thanks!
Thanks!

If you've just loaded it with £17.80 credit then you can use that on whatever you like within the Oyster zone. So yes.0

Is that a £17.80 bus pass? In which case you've bought a bus pass that lives on your Oyster card.
If it's PAYG credit you can use Oyster PAYG credit on the DLR, as well as the buses, tube and trains with the London zones. Make sure you touch in and out or the credit won't last long! http://www.tfl.gov.uk/tickets/14839.aspx
If you bought a bus pass and have no other credit you could add some which will act as PAYG credit for trip on things other than buses.0 -

Yup, £17.80 was for a weekly bus pass. So I can still top up money onto the oyster card to use on DLR? If so, how much is 1 journey on DLR?0 -

Depends on what zones you travel in

DLR runs from zone 1 to 4.

If you are taking the DLR more than twice and not into Zone 1 (Bank or Tower Gateway), then it may have been more cost-effective to buy a Zone 2-3 or 3-4 travelcard. Even on its own the bus pass is only worth it if you take more than 4 buses per day on more than 4 days.0
