Withdrawing an item for sale

How do I go about doing this? Can't seem to find anything on eBay help, there hasn't been any bids yet but there is a watcher, if I remove the item what are the implications?

It took me several months to find out how to do this. Do a search on ebay help for ending item early. There is a hidden form you fill out with the item number and then it closes it. You can give a reason for it.

No implications if you havent got any current bidders.

go to home page (ebay of course) and click on help. then in top left corner click on A-Z index. then click on E. scroll down and click on ENDING YOUR LISTING EARLY and just follow the instructions from there.

To end an item go to your My eBay Page. Under Items I'm Selling at the right hand side it probably says Sell Similar. Click on the small arrow in the box next to it and then you can

Revise
Add To Description
End Item
Edit Promotions

You can end the item at any time. Even if bids have been placed - in which case you can sell to the highest bidder at that time or cancel all bids and end the auction.
