HELP! Energy Reduction UK Ltd -Anyone got knowledge or experience?

HELP! Energy Reduction UK Ltd -Anyone got knowledge or experience? I've had a cold call this week from a guy at Energy Reduction UK (www . energyreductionuk . com) who have offered to install FREE solar panels. Has anyone dealt with this company or have any experience of them?

Their website is a bit concerning to me and states they are trading as Energy Reduction Surveying Limited.

 cheers for anyone with help!

Dave

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, THEY ARE A RIP OFF.

Please believe me i know from experience, i worked for this company as a surveyor and signed people up for this scheme, I was unemployed and desperate for a job so took it and honestly believed this was a legitamate job. I spent a fortune in fuel going round signing people up and then they stopped comunicating with me. I have not been paid for any work i have done, i also paid £199 to have the panels fitted and also have nothing to show for it.

  • we have had nougthing more than problems with them from the start. we had an istalation date my husband took unpaid time off work to be here and they didnt turn up, then after about 4 weeks we got some answers as to why they didnt turn up they told up the paperwork wasnt complete and we hadnt signed everything and that they would send out more paperwork, so my husband and i decided we didnt want this comany solar panel for 25 years as we felt they are incompatent and told them we no longer want them, their reply was that we couldnt do that as we were in a contract and that the paperwork had been signed, so we carried on and had them fitted, then we discoverd we were using more electric so rang them up and they told us that the solar pannels wont work with a prepayment meter at no point was we told this. we are now seeking legal advice
