WEM Boots 17 Cosmetics and then recalled can they do this?

Has a wem this afternoon to say I've won tickets to a Boots 17 Cosmetics event from the post here:

and then 1 minute later an email to say the email had been recalled so I guess I've no longer got tickets

Very disappointed can they do this?
Any ideas

I got the same message, E mail to say i had won and then straight after received a message saying it was being recalled! I would not of been able to go anyway but did seem very strange!

I had exactly the same email and 'recall' request - I'm guessing she must have sent to all on the list maybe? I couldn't have gone anyway but the email title got me excited! lol

it seems you are all winners, I emailed straight back to ask why she had sent that recall email, she said she needed to make an amendment.... which I think was adding that transport was not included. I can't make it anyway which is a shame, not sure if I am able to offer to any fellow mser's that might be interested?

Further to my first posting went to the facebook page and posted along with lots of other people and this was the response:

17 Cosmetics Hi Deborah, we hope you'll be able to attend the gig with your niece as it should be a fun afternoon. We have increased the number of passes available, so we can now accommodate more than just 17 winners. Do email us to let us know if you and your niece will make it down.

So not sure if everyone who had an email can go or not - guess the place will either be very crowded or very empty!

i feel very sorry for the poor lady who sent out the email.. she must have had a rather rubbish day at work today. She obviously made a mistake and people are really laying it on about it on the facebook page
