Prize Draw Terms and Conditions
1.These Terms & Conditions govern your participation in Intel's "Christmas with Ultrabook™ Prize Draw" (the "Prize Draw") and your use of and postings on the Prize Draw's Facebook pages (the "Site"). Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before deciding to participate in the Prize Draw or posting any content on the Site.

Entering the Intel Christmas with Ultrabook™ Prize Draw implies acceptance of the following Terms and Conditions. In addition, you are representing that the details provided are true and complete including that you are the account holder of the Facebook account specified.

Entry into the Prize Draw does not constitute entry into any other promotion, contest or prize draw.

2.Entrants must be aged 18 years or over (as at the date of entry), have a valid email address and a valid Facebook account.

Intel Corporation employees, its affiliates and subsidiaries and/or their families, or any person directly involved in the administration of this Prize Draw are not eligible to enter.

This Prize Draw is open to residents of the United Kingdom only.

Void where prohibited, or restricted by Law and outside the eligible territory.

All national and local laws and regulations apply. The Prize Draw is governed by the laws of the United Kingdom.

3.How to enter:
No purchase is necessary.
Entrants must log on to their Facebook account.
If you do not have a Facebook account, visit https://www.facebook.com to create one. Facebook accounts are free.
Entrants should visit the Intel UK Facebook webpage at (Facebook country page link) and then follow the on screen instructions.
Entrants will be directed to an app Facebook page, administered within Apps on Facebook.com.


The Prize Draw will consist of two entry mechanics:

a.From 1st December 2011 until 24th December 2011 entrants to the "Site" will be able to answer one multiple choice question (or alternative entry mechanic to be determined at Intel's discretion) each day, with correct answers being entered into a draw to win an Intel "Ultrabook™" (The "Prize" – see section 7). 24 "Ultrabook™" "Prizes" will be allocated for this phase of the "Prize Draw", with one "Winner" being selected from correct entries received each day. Entry for this phase is restricted to one entry per person per day. Individuals will only be eligible to win one "Prize" throughout the Prize Draw period.
b.During three weekends in December 2011 (Saturday & Sunday 3rd/4th, 10/11th & 17/18th December 2011 during the opening hours of the Dixons retail stores participating to this Draw)_visitors to participating Dixons retail stores (see list of participating stores section 16) will have an alternative means to enter the "Prize Draw" to win an "Ultrabook™" "Prize". Visitors who ‘check-in' to the Intel location on Facebook Places in participating retail stores, can show this to a dedicated Intel rep on site to receive a unique entry code. This entry code can be used to enter an additional Prize Draw on the "Site" where an additional 24 "Ultrabook™" "Prizes" will be given away. Entry for this phase is restricted to one entry per person per day. Individuals will only be eligible to win one "Prize" throughout the Prize Draw period.
Shared Facebook accounts will not be eligible to the Prize Draw.

Entries and E-mail addresses may be checked and Facebook Places check-in verified for validity of entry.

Entrants understand that the Prize Draw is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook, in any respect.

Entrants acknowledge that Facebook will not be held liable for any reason whatsoever related to this Prize Draw.

All information provided by Entrants for the purpose of this Prize Draw is deemed to be disclosed to and may be collected by Intel/Promoter and not to and by Facebook.

Only entries that have been submitted using the Prize Draw application on the Site, which are linked to a Facebook account, will be considered eligible for participation in the Prize Draw. All other postings and submissions will not be eligible for participation in the Prize Draw.

4.By entering into the Prize Draw and/or posting any content on the wall of the Intel Facebook page (whether photos, videos, blogs, discussions, comments or other material), you:

a.confirm that you own all the rights in such content and that such content does not infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party;
b.agree that Intel (and its agents) may use, publish, modify, adapt, rework, broadcast and reproduce your content without limitation worldwide and in any and all media for the purpose of operating and promoting the Prize Draw and for its commercial and business activities;
c.agree that any fans of the Intel Facebook Page or friends of such fans may use, broadcast and reproduce your content to the extent permitted by Facebook applications
5.You agree not to post any content (whether photos, videos, blogs, discussions comments or other material) on the wall of the Intel Facebook page that is likely to be viewed as racist, sexist, obscene, profane, immoral or offensive or as promoting or denigrating any religious, political or cultural beliefs or that may damage or impugn the reputation of Intel or otherwise be inappropriate.

6.Intel will collect, use and may share your personal information with the administrator of the Prize Draw for the sole purpose of selection, notification and the fulfilment of the Prize Draw.

No personal information will be kept after the winner(s) are selected, informed and has (have) received his or her prize.

7.All valid entries will be entered into the draw and 48 winners will be selected at random. Winner(s) will be drawn from all valid entries.

Entries for the "Prize Draw" must be received within the time period specified in section 3a, every day before 23:59h and by 23.59 on 1st January 2012 for the mechanic specified in section 3b.

Subsequent entries will be automatically disqualified. Entries become the property of Intel and will not be returned.

The "Prize Draw" will be made to select prize "Winner(s)" within 14 working days after the closing date for entries in accordance with section 3 and section 7. The winners will be notified by email by the 10th January, 2012. Winners cannot be informed or named on/by Facebook.

Please allow up to 28 days for delivery of your prize.

If Intel is unable for any reason to contact a winner, Intel may select at random an alternate winner.

Entrants to this Prize Draw accept that Intel UK ("Intel") may name the winner(s) of the prize(s) in public.

8.Intel cannot accept any responsibility for entries not received because they have been lost, or not received due to interrupted connections or miscommunications, or other electronic malfunctions or not received due to lost, late, mutilatedillegible, incomplete entries. Any entries found to be duplicate or fraudulent will result in the participant being excluded from the contest.

9.The "Prizes" available are 48 Ultrabooks with a value of approximately £800 - 1000 each. The prizes only apply to the "Ultrabook™".

Prize(s) are not transferable and cash alternatives will not be available.

10.Entrants agree that Intel Corporation and its subsidiaries, as well as Intel Corporation or its subsidiaries' advertising and promotion agencies, and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents will have no liability whatsoever, and will be held harmless by winners for any injuries, losses or costs or damage of any kind resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of a prize or parts thereof, or from participation in this Prize Draw.

11.Intel may disqualify any individual who:
- breaches these terms and conditions;
- breaches any terms of conduct of using on-line services and/or playing on-line games;
- tampers with the entry process by cheating, hacking, deception or other unfair playing practices;
- abuses, threatens or harasses other entrants;
- distributes counterfeit software;
- attempts to interfere with, hack into or decipher any transmissions to or from the servers;
- uses and communicates exploits to gain unfair advantage in the Prize Draw;
- interferes with the ability of others to enjoy playing the game or the service in any way; and/or
- take actions that interfere with the service or costs of this service.


12.Intel reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions and to suspend or terminate the Prize Draw at any time and for any reason, without notice. Intel makes no commitment to update information contained in these terms and conditions. It is a condition of entry that the rules are accepted as final, and that the entrants agree to abide by the rules.

13.The judge is Intel and its decision will be final and binding in all respects.

Final prizes are to be determined in Intel's sole discretion. Intel will not enter into correspondence on any matter to do with the Prize Draw.

14.Should tax liability arise, then it will be the responsibility of the winners to notify their own Government's relevant tax department. Intel Corporation and its subsidiaries take no responsibility or liability for taxation or for any other costs incurred in connection with the prizes received in this promotion.

15.The promoter of this Prize Draw is Intel. This Prize Draw is administered by OMD UK.
