Purcased item through nectar estores worth about £600 (1200 nectar points) nectar said they have no record of it and wont honour points! Told them to close nectar card and dont want any more to do with them.


What would you do ? Did I do the right thing ?

I booked a holiday once and was told i could have nectar points.They later changed their mind,saying they had made a mistake.I complained to Thomsons,got nowhere,complained to nectar and they were very helpful credited me the points.Can you escalate a complaint?

Nectar wont let me, been told on phone that they have decided not to award points and wont change their mind

Wont change their mind on what grounds?
Presumably you could get the seller to confirm you made a purchase.
Cant see how they could get out of it.

They tried to say that there is no record of me following a link from their website to jessops. Also they claim i paid over the phone , to which I have an invoice with a web ref. no. . To add to that they also claim that they have consulted with jessops(last time i spoke to jessops reguarding nectar points they said its all done online, so I dont think it is worth phoning them). Not sure how true this is.
