Windows live mail problems.

Had the following for 2 weeks now...I try to send an e-mail, but as soon as the sending address is typed, the whole screen starts flickering, and locks up.
I then have to shut down (difficult in itself as the mouse dosent work properly).
When the comp is restarted, it works fine, until I try to send an e-mail again via windows live (Windows 7). *Im now just using Hotmail, which seems fine. Any clues ? Thanks.

Uninstall WLM and reinstall it.
But why not try Thunderbird instead?No free lunch, and no free laptop
