Hello all...
Wondering if anyone out there has any TomTom usage tips ? I mean anything to make it function better, tweaks, settings, best technique on drop-kicking it when frustrated(!)...etc...anything!
Picked up a TomTom 910 recently which is fantastic...but want to know the tips others have for them or any of the others in the range...
Anyone out there got the new FM transmitter for it ? Very keen to establish if its any good and worth getting.
I've managed to pick up an extra tomtom dock freebie....and one or two other bits quite easily which I should not really mention here in all honesty I'm afraid.

Worth checking out and completing if you have have a 510 / 710 / 910
If the above process fails, just open a TomTom support case and indicate you have tried completing the above link, but it fails, and request they process it for you.
Works a treat...
Another tip:- the little hole on the front is NOT a reset button, so DONT go stabbing it with a pin!! Tiny reset button is on the underside located by the actual mounting socket connector.
So....over to you !!?! Anything else worthy of a mention/discussion stricly Tom Tom Navigation related!

Best tip!
If you looking to hack/modify don't buy a GO unit, get a PDA and do alot more with it.
The 910 isnt too bad but a PDA is more fun I can get updated maps for mine froma ll over the world, the 910 has worldwide maps I know but you find they may be out of date after a few months but your stuck with them if you dont cough up some cash.0
