HL Tracker Confusion

Hi all,
I've got 3 different trackers in my HL ISA to which I add £185/month roughly equally. I'm now going to be charged £5/month to hold these. My ISA is currently valued at around £8.5K so not a massive portfolio.
I notice that there are some tracker funds that you can hold with HL that still do not have the platform fee. I'm wondering that since my portfolio is quite small if I should just change the trackers I hold?
My thinking being that one companies tracker should, by it's very nature be very similar to another companies assuming you're comparing like for like (FTSE All share, American etc).
Am I misunderstanding this?
many thanks

Yes, that should be ok, but you need to consider the TER on the new trackers. The only reason I can see HL not introducing the fee on trackers is because they charge you more in the first place! (and subsequently kick-back some of those charges to HL)I am an IFA, but nothing I say on this forum constitutes financial advice. Always draw your own conclusions and always do your own research.0

Well your costs will still go up, but one will be taken from the fund fee (which you won't see, you'll just see lower growth compared to old tracker, as I suspect the fund cost will be higher), compared to the new fee which you will see directly.0
