Canvas Picture Issues

Hi, hoping for some advice.

My girlfriend order a photo printed onto canvas from http://www.my-picture.co.uk. It' meant to be 1 picture split over 3 separate canvases to go side by side and this was the option she chose on the site but now it has arrived we have found the following problems:
  • It was self assembly (not very obvious on the site)
  • The 'solid 1.5" frames' are actually 2 of the cheaper option 0.75" frames stapled together but not very well, in fact several have come apart in transport (to quote the website: 'All frames are of high quality and manufactured in-house')
  • The tongue and groove joints don't line up properly at the corners so the frames are difficult to assemble and not very neat once they are assembled.
  • She chose the 'stretch edge option' for the part of the canvas that wraps onto the side of the frames - but this has only been done for the 4 outside edges of the original picture, not all 4 edges of each of the 3 separate parts - this means that when we mount the canvases some of the actual picture will be wrapped round onto the side of the frames where the middle picture joins the 2 side pictures. This is the main problem, I hope the description makes sense!
  • There are two white scratches/lines on the picture about 3cm long that aren't on the original.

Aside from the fact this site has a lot of bad reviews online, and seems to be done in a way that makes you think the pictures come on the frames (unless you carefully check the T&Cs like I just have, in fact she's sure the £25 option to pre-stretch onto the frames wasn't even showing during the ordered process when she went through it even though it seems to be now!), I can live with having to mount them but it's the issues with the picture and quality of the frames themselves that my issue's with.

What are my rights here?

It seems to actually be a German site.

I was hoping DSR would be my friend here but on (http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/shopping/consumer-rights-refunds-exchange#web) it says 'Exceptions: ..., personalised goods,' - guessing this would exclude printed pictures?

It was purchased on a credit card (as always online!) but less than £100 in total so section 75 won't help. Will the credit card company still be able to do anything?

How about the Sale of Goods Act? Would this apply to a German company? I don't think the frames are as described (solid - they're 2 parts stapled together), and I don't think the picture is of satisfactory quality (the issue with part of the picture wrapping onto the edges, and the white scratches), or the frames (joints not lining up properly).

There is a UK address listed (http://www.my-picture.co.uk/imprint/) but only a German phone number.

Ideally I'd just like a refund but failing that if they sort all the issues that would be ok. Also would I be liable for the return costs (to Germany!) if they were going to refund or replace with another?

Thanks for any help!
Chris
