The "Every Penny's a Prisoner" Thread

Hi all
Every penny a prisoner is going to be my mantra for the New year, great idea and so easy to remember.
So if you are in a shop aisle where the chocolate is and hear someone muttering "every penny a prisoner" it will be me talking myself out of an impluse buy.
Chocolate is never an impulse buy - it's just medication in the wrong aisle....it's an essential like fuel and other meds, which is why you don't get the same level of deals as you do on fruit etc.

Hello freebyfifty,
Hi everybody,
I'm going to join your thread if I may. I've kept seeing the words "Every Penny's A Prisoner" in other people's signatures but I didn't realise it was a thread name, you could say the penny has dropped.
So I've subscribed to the thread and as you can see from my signature I have some debt to pay off in the year ahead, so I'll pop in when I make payments and hopefully we can encourage each other along.
Merry Christmas :santa2:0
