Had a new Panasonic Viera tv delivered last week (my Christmas present to myself
)
Couldn't fault the delivery drivers, even if I tried, they were fab. TV was the cheapest price I could find, and a 5 year warranty to boot, excellent.
Anyway, installed the tv and had it working a week when suddenly it developed a grey band, halfway across the screen, when first switched on - lasted about 20 mins at a time.
Tried all possible fixes, to no avail, so called JL Customer Service. Spoke to an adviser (really wish I'd taken her name, as she was so helpful) who offered me 3 choices:
Contact Panasonic to arrange a repair
Collect & refund
Collect & exchange.
I opted for the exchange as, despite the past 2 days, I have been delighted with the tv. Picture quality is fab, much better than my old Sony Bravia.
So, JL will phone me & arrange to collect the old tv, and replace it, in the next few days.
Fab Service. :T

...and if they hadn't been the cheapest they'd have price-matched (within certain criteria)0

Only if you include the price of the 5 yr Gtee, they got wise to that.0
