Can you stream movies, cheaply via an Xbox360?

We will be welcoming an XBox 360 into the family at Christmas (not paid for by me I might add lol!)

Anyway - can we get a cheapish film subscription through it? Had a look at LoveFilm which seemed to be all about the PS3!??

Any ideas?

Microsoft's Zune is already on the xbox which has loads of movies as well: http://social.zune.net/movies

Also, if your xbox is connected to your home network then you can play your movies (depending on the format) straight from your PC onto your TV.

  • I to have my fingers crossed that they add the entertainment features in just in time for Christmas, it will be great! It makes sense for them to do it!

Yet another question! Will the xbox get these updates automatically? I bet I'll have to do some sort of connecting it to the interwebnet won't I? Eeek! It took me months to sort out getting the DS connected lol!

word of warning for your networking then.....If I remember correctly, the DS will only accept WEP wifi encryption to connect to some nintendo services & games, can't remember if xbox wifi adapter will do WEP or not..have a look here:-
