No point leaving this up, asked a legal type question and got sniped at for not putting down the model or problem. Do not require a diagnosis just wanted to find out my rights!
Thank you

Sounds pretty normal for a dealer. Just replace some very expensive parts at the customer's expense that didn't need changing in the first place, charge for the diagnostic scan which they learnt nothing from and then charge to fix the actual problem (eventually).
Not much you can do really, as they'll just say replacing parts until the problem went away was all they could do, or that the latest problem is a different one. You'll need to prove they didn't perform to a reasonable standard i.e. that they replaced parts that could not have fixed the problem and people of reasonable skill wouldn't have done it.0 -
Thats the problem with these top secret one off cars that you are not allowed to name.
Your not allowed to describe the fault or the symptoms either.
Makes fixing them very costly.
Of course if it was a common car with common issues, Repairs are quick and cheap.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0
