Making several payments before statement is due

Options
Hi,

I have made several payments this month on my credit card as I was approaching my spending limit but still wanted to use it as I don't use my debit card for purchases. Obviously these payments were not due and my spending shows as being well over my credit limit.

Will this affect my account/credit rating in a negative way if it happens regularly? Or is it totally fine with them (Barclaycard)?

Thanks :j

  • It's fine you can spend on your card all day long as long as you don't exceed your credit limit if by making manual payments throughout the month it means you don't go over then that's fine. Just don't spend over your credit limit
Can I find out my credit score?
You do not have a single credit score or rating. Different organisations take different information into account when working out your credit score and may have different scores for different products. (Kindly from Experian)
