I have been using msn hotmail regularly. Yesterday it asked me to sign in again which I did using existing id and password, but it is treating me as a new user. Therefore none of my existing folders are available. I have some important info in one of them. Does anyone know how I can find it.? I have run a search but to no avail. Admit I am not that good with computers so it may be really easy. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

First things first.. did you sign in by going to https://www.hotmail.com or did you sign in by clicking a link on an email?
Could be a fake version if you used the latter[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]"The internet is a great way to get on the net."

Yes I have been using it regularly just minutes before in fact and everyday. I clicked on msn mailbox and got the page asking me to sign in again. I can't remember all it said but I do remember one of the reasons being that it suspends it if you haven't used it regularly. As this did not apply to me I ignored it. I used my existing e mail id and password assuming it was some sort of security measure or update. It went straight to my personalised msn page and when I clicked on to the llink to access my e mails there were no e mails or existing folders present. I did receive an e mail from hotmail staff welcoming me as a new user. As I used existing user name amd password surely it should have recognised this?. I am getting my e mails as normal so would be no problem if I did not desperately need the info in one particular file.!0
