Help. canon laser printer

ever since I upgraded to internet explorer 9 my canon laser lbp-1210 will not print anything from the internet. Have tried canon and they just direct my to microsoft but cannot find what to do on windows xp (lots of advice for the other ones) Please can someone advise me what to do, Have uninstalled and re installed but that didn't work

    Have you tried a different browser? It will probably save a lot of effort, and it's not hard to get used to Firefox, for example - it will even import your favourites automatically.
