Seriously I think the majority of posters were hoping you were a troll. I find it almost beyond belief that you allowed yourself to be scammed out of such a huge amount of money.
You want constructive advice? Get yourself on a Financial Awareness course at your local college, and learn from this very bitter experience.

Phoning his bank or card company won't do any good. Ten to one he has paid by UKash or Western Union.

It is so depressing to see, week after week, people falling for these scams. OP, didn't it occur to you, just for a moment, that such bady written and constructed English might possiby indicate that things were not entirely kosher? The chances of you getting your money back are next to zero.

For the future, never, ever, pay an upfront fee to obtain a loan. No reputable lender or broker will ask for one.

It's really best to investigate on the credibility of websites when it actually involves you releasing money. The 425 euros for a loan will get me very suspicious.
