Videoing Nativity and selling copies of DVD

Hi, am on our schools PTA, my 9 year old son is technology mad and thought I could combine the two.
The head has agreed to allow him to video this years nativity play so we can sell copies to parents to raise money for the PTA.
Think I might have bitten off more than I can chew...
All parents/children sign a home/school agreement that allows free use of videos & cameras at school event & performances, so there shouldn't be any restrictions there.
Wondered if anyone had attempted similar and could recommend a video/dvd copying service.
When we have had a private company come in on previous years we sold about 60 copies at £10 each.
Bit of a long shot, thanks for reading
Best wishes
Kathryn

I dont see a problem if everyone agrees, but £10 for an video is really expensive especially if you have other children in a different play.
Its a lot of mone to some who havent much.
£5 is more reasonable as you have little overheads.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -

Assumes you have a computer with a DVD burner0 -
Persuade one of the little horrors to cause an upset so that the cast all fall over. Then send a copy of the DVD to "You've Been Framed" and the PTA is £200 better off.If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0

Check your music copyright/mechanical/performing rights.
I think Twinkle Twinkle is out of copyright as long as you use the 1785 Mozart arrangements, but a more modern arrangement from a songbook may be in copyright.
If you want to sing "Happy Birthday Dear Jesus" then you must credit Patty and Mildred Hill and pay AOL Time Warner some money, as Happy Birthday is still in copyright.
Also check whether the DVD will require BBFC classification and labelling before being offered for sale.A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0
