Hourly Van Hire
Hi everyone,
I'm in Manchester and I'm looking to hire a van for moving some furniture, but am only going to want it for a few hours (3-4 probably). I've googled and come across http://www.citycarclub.co.uk/ and http://www.diy.com/diy/jsp/bq/templates/content_lookup.jsp?content=/content/support/services/van_hire/index.jsp. Has anybody used either of these, and if so are they any good?
Any other suggestions for alternatives are appreciated.
Thanks, mto

I believe B&Q are quite well known :rotfl:0

I am a member of City Car Club through my work (they pay) and yes, they are very good, but, you would have to become a member of the car club (£25 per annum I think) and then you would pay the hourly rental on the van. If its only for a 'one-off' you may be better off looking in your local paper for a 'man and van' and using them.:TProud to have lived within my means all my life :T0

Yeah, local papers or some of the smaller rental companys can be very cheap.0
