which address to use while abroad

I need some advice in helping me get my credit rating sorted out. I am currently living in Germany, while my husband is doing a 5 year civilian posting with the British Armed Forces. I would like to know which is the best address to use when giving banks etc my new address. I have two options; (1) BFPO address or (2) My german civilian address. We hope to return to the UK at the end of the posting and apply for a mortgage. I want my credit rating to be as solid as possible but i am worried that by using the wrong address will do more harm than good. Which address would be best to use?

You need to be truthful - little porkies can come back and bite your bum hard!
If you are BFPO now that is the address you should use.
Mortgage lenders take this into account and BFPO will not damage your credit rating in any way.0
