Direct Travel Insurance Small Print Claim

beware when taking out travel insurance I fell foul to the small print when making a claim. I had my camera bag with two cameras and some money stolen from the boot of my hire car.
The policy says that you will not be able to claim for any loss of Valubles from a car, you are only covered if they are on you person or locked inyour room.
If any body can assist me in trying to make a claim I wood to hear from you.
Since this problem with Direct Travel I have found that they are the only company who has this written into their Policy.

Iceman , sorry to hear of your loss - Its not such an unusual exclusion - its also in the terms of the policy I get with my LloydsTsB bank account.Any posts on here are for information and discussion purposes only and shouldn't be seen as (financial) advice.0
