Cheaper velux windows?

Hi. Does anybody know of a cheaper way to buy Velux windows than buying direct from Velux? We need 5 for an extension, but I'm gulping at the price!

try one of their stockists like Travis Perkins. You should get some discount for 5

velux is a trade name, there are many good makes of "skylights" to chose from other than velux. i nearly died when i saw the price and bought some other make at half the price and just as good.

Here's another option. They are as good as Velux.

We brought Fakro and were very happy however last weekend we went to B&Q Warehouse in Bristol and saw they had a massive range of velux windows all with loads of money off! Its definitely worth a look at your local B&Q warehouse to check prices.
