what makes you think if a company is dissolved its gone bust. i have 4 ltd companies all dormant to give some protection on business names. I recently disssolved a company name as i was no longer trading in that feild. all you do is fill a form in from companies house and pay them a £10 fee and the name is dissolved (removed from register), but i have not gone bust.

It looks like I have strayed into some sort Here Today Gone Tomorrow Club.

I will leave you to it.

explain, i am not a here today gone tomorrow business, ive been running my business since 1999.

i reorganised my business and their was 1 part of my business that the profits dropped considerably so i just closed down that paert of the business and then dissolved the ltd name to go with that business name.

It looks like you have an attitude problem. First you get arsy with me when I tell you the reply you posted wasn't relevant, then you have a pop at another poster who makes a valid, helpful contribution.
Seriously don't see why you have got your back up???

The problem is this. I was the first person who took the trouble to reply to a poster who had started a thread asking for some help. I took the time to search through several threads to find a link I thought would be helpful to that poster who asked for help.

The reply I got for my trouble from the poster was:

"Sorry, I cant see the part about using a dissolved companies name, unless I am being really thick?".

The reply back to you was polite

Opened with "Hi mistral.... Then a sorry but i cant see the part.... unless I am being thick""

Not once did i insult you, and the reply you came back with was just rude and unwarranted. add to that you then jump on another poster who DID post useful information.

i have many times misread a post and put up the wrong links, point is if i amtrying to help and it's pointed out that the info i provided wasnt right, i dont then jump down the OP's throat because I put the wrong info out.

Thanks for trying to help in the first place. I did appreciate that, just not your later replies

    Your thanks are welcome.

But come on your first reply was sarcastic. It is a two way street here on this forum.

Honestly, hand on heart, it wasnt meant to be. Thats why I even went further into explaining the name choice etc.
Anyway, lets let sleeping dogs lie. Lifes too short

I read somewhere that in forums because you cannot see the poster and read their face or get the tone of their voice that you sometimes jump to the wrong conclusion. Looks like a case of doing that here. Live and learn and move on I suppose as you say.
