ASU Accident/Sickness/Unemployment policy

has anyone successfully claimed on a MONTHLY premium contract, usually sold/offered by brokers, as part of a protection package in connection with a re/mortgage. I understand that only SINGLE premium ASU is (sometimes) 'suspect'

There have been limited successes but unlike non-advised PPI, you need a technical failing. Such as single premium or not being eligible.

The FOS reported that they just had 16 cases with the largest IFA/mortgage adviser network in the last reporting cases. So, you can see that the scale is nowhere near the same.

it is very easy for an adviser to reject a complaint as there will be an audit trail that doesnt exist with credit card PPI and monthly premiums dont have the issues that single premiums do. Plus, mortgage PPI is generally considered to be the only PPI worth having. Event the DWP set benefits on the assumption you have MPPI.

What would be your reasons for complaint?
