Could my daughter claim housing benefit?

My wife and I are both pensioners and our daughter (25 yrs) is currently on JSA and living with us. As you can imagine money is very tight. If we charge my daughter rent could she claim it back as housing benefit.

Thanks

no you cannot claim housing benefit whilst living with close family. Your daughter should be using her JSA to contribute to the household expenses
