Another stoozing question, please!!

I have stoozed 15k, balance now on my on my egg card. In the post today i received a barclaycard platinum with a 3.5k credit limit. i phoned up to do a bt into my current account, but was told you can only bt other outstanding balances on cards.
my question is, can any of you expert stoozers explain a way of utilising this new card to add to my stooze pot? if i just take money off my egg card, i dont seem to have advanced, do i?

Any helpful comments would be much appreciated. Also received 18 month cap one card application in post today......am i running before walking?! Thanks

You can BT the money to your egg card and from there to the current account. Same will apply for the Capital 1 card unless they allow BTs direct to current account. Egg don't make any charges for BTs, so you can use it as a "mule" to get money to your current account.

Out of interest what sort of credit limit did Capital 1 give you for the 18 month deal?

I thought barclaycard allow SBTs?

Anyway, you can pay off a bit of Egg and do another SBT from Egg to your current account, as long as you are still in your 0% transfer window with Egg...

No doubt it would depend on other circumstances, but it would be interesting to know what the 'range' of Credit Limits have been and against existing Credit Card Limits.
