Ham and mushroom pasta bake.
Cheap wafer thin ham cut into strips
Value mushrooms sliced and lightly fried
Cheap pasta shapes cooked
2 eggs beaten
grated cheese
Mix together ham, mushrooms, pasta. Mix in the egg. Put in an oven proof dish and top with grated cheese. Cook in the oven until cheese is melted and golden brown.
Serve with crusty bread and salad.
Absolutely delicious!!!

Or a stewpack of veg for £1 - cooked in slow cooker with can tomatoes and curry powder - this can be eaten on its own or with pitta bread, rice etc.:):):)
Sounds disgusting0 -
Tastes fine!
If you have breadmaker - or can make dough by hand - home made pizza is very popular and cheap.
A huge flan with eggs, bacon, cheese and onions is very populat and can be eaten cold or warm."This site is addictive!"

They are nice on there own or with baked beans or salad.0 -

The cheapest decent meal I can come up with is pasta in home made tomato sauce. Boil up a packet of spaghetti (16p asda smartprice) Fry garlic in olive oil and put in a tin of tomotoes with dried herbs, simmer until pasta cooked and it costs about 20p max to feed 4 people!0
