Capital One World card- changed the 5% offer?

Did anyone else apply for a Capital One World Mastercard 3 or 4 months ago?
I am absolutely positive that when I applied in Spetember there was no mention of a limit for the 5% cashback in the first three months.
I knew that I would be bookng a holiday as well as christmas presents in the first three months so I knew I would be looking at a few hundred pounds of cashback.
There is now a £100 limit for the first three months so I've 'lost' a couple of hundred pounds of cashback.
Typically I threw out all the promotional leaflets that I got at the time and there's no mention of how the cashback works on the letters that I kept.
Can anyone else confirm that I am not going mental and they have indeed introduced this limit recently, or did I really miss all the very obvious mentions of the £100 limit?

There was always a £100 limit, but it was disguised as "5% cashback *"
"* on the first £2,000 and for the first 99 days".0 -
I got mine around the same time. The credit agreement is, and always has been,You will be enrolled in the Capital One rebate programme and will receive the following rebates payable on purchases. For the first £2,000 of purchases that are applied to your account within the first 99 days from your account opening date you will receive a rebate of 5%. Any further purchases in that period will not qualify for any rebate0

Sorry for the late reply guys.
Thank you very much for clearing that up, it looks as if I did just miss the small print then :embarasse
Still, I'm consoled by the fact that I'm obviously not the only one as they have now changed the wording and made it very, VERY obvious in the advert and not hidden away with a little asterisk.
Oh well, £100 cashback is better than nothing I suppose.0
