Merry Christmas everyone!!!

Hope you all had a lovely day!

I started with a cold early Friday morn so have not felt too good today!

All day spent at Ma and Pa's eating food, so NSD 10 today.

Have had a very MSE Christmas ;) was joking saying I wanted cleaning spray as a present, and so my dad has been out and bought enough cleaning products to last me about 10 years :rotfl:my siblings are incapable of buying presents without being told what to buy so I got 3 useful presents off them too!

Next year I'm going to ask for toothbrushes, toothpaste, toilet roll, shampoo and conditioner :D do wonders for my budget!

JCG xx

• 8 NSDs for me.....Boxing Day, is just going to be a low key event - will be listening to the Football this evening. Sales don't interest me, as I got a tonne of clothes for Christmas, and I'm still using the left over birthday money for a football match next Saturday.

Good morning all!

Hope everyone had a great day yesterday, mine was a bit mixed.

Ended up in hospital with my Dad. He has had a chest infection (again) and has been feeling gradually worse all week despite being on antibiotics. Yesterday he was feeling really bad so phoned NHS 24 who advised going to hospital. I took him up @12 and finally after a lot of hanging about and tests and humming and hawwing as to whether they were going to admit him or not, they let him home at 9 last night. The positive thing is they've identified the bacteria causing this recurring infection and had given the appropriate ant-bis to treat it. He is home and also on a short course of steroids to help the breathing so fingers crossed.
So,dinner was a bit staggered throughout the day but we got there in the end.;)

We are all having a quiet day today - catching up with Sky+ programmes and I'll be out for a good walk later as I need some freash air!

On the plus side, I got 2 more NSD's so that's 12!

Enjoy your Boxing Day!th_boxing2anim.gif

Happy Boxing Day everyone!

Sorry to hear about your dad Jinty, what a christmas day, but at least he is on the road to recovery now.

Despite having a nose at the sales online last night yesterday was NSD #7 for me :j Going a bit slowly this month, but I am going to have a day out in the sales this week and enjoy myself (going to give myself a cash budget and enjoy spending it as a reward to making lots of savings this year :A)

Quiet day here today, just enjoying chilling out. Prob going to take some turkey over to my mum later although overall we don't seem to have quite as many leftovers as sometimes (well excluding what I didn't cook that is in the freezer :p)
