Actually BDINI you're a treasure as well as a star xx:A
Hope your neck is calming down?
And any news on the tenant, keeping my fingers crossed all is well.
xx
Awww thanks Spoon, you're a star & a treasure too!!
Neck fine now thanks (note to self, run the other way from fights at work!!)
Tenant is a little treasure (so far), slightly miffed at the fact that the loft insulation guys i sent round refused to do her loft as the house has asbestos , but i will worry about that in the new year, i'm sure there will be an easy solution
Happy Christmas hun, hope you have a fab one!!February NSD challenge 5/150 -

but it has been pretty awful without one.
It's the first (biggish) thing I can remember buying since I got into debt (around 20 years ago when I left home:o) that I've actually managed to pay for without getting into more debt.:)
Even though it's wiped me out totally (budgeting skills still need a lot of work), it's quite satisfying as I'm not worrying about where the money's going to come from to pay for it..... and I think I actually appreciate it more as I've paid for it with "real money" rather than just sticking it on the end of a huge cc balance - if that makes any sort of sense!:o
Makes total sense Rising, & you should rightly feel proud of yourself for having saved enough to do it!!February NSD challenge 5/150 -

A quick scoot by to announce nsd9 yesterday. Well got milk but that doesn't count. Thursday was thwarted for needing to get work boots. Not happy about that as I think they should supply them, but hey these big huge profit making companies aren't going to be spending any of their millions of £££ profit making sure their staff have the necessary protective clothing to do their job. OK, rant over, it's Christmas Eve, boys are watching Ice Age from yesterday, DH is home for 10 days (minus 1 day in the middle that work are stealing him for), so time to enjoy it. DS1 has chosen our Christmas Eve dinner - kebab & chips!!! so we'll be spending today but tomorrow should be an nsd (can't afford to be looking at the sales tomorrow evening).
:xmastree:Have a great Christmas everybody.:xmastree:Clean credit file:12 mthsCar loan: FREE! :jTHE PLAN: 1.Pay off debt £8808.42(£3254.45, £1570.32, £2698.33, £0:dance:, £1000, £285.32) 2.Save monthly for Christmas/insurance etc £150 per month 3.Save for emergencies /£1500 4.Save for our B&B £????depends which one takes our fancy0 -

I got a new to me fridge a wee while ago and was so so pleased as I couldent afford a new one.
So currently looking for a freezer.
To think in days gone by all I worried about was whether they matched  :rotfl:

Hope you and Fresian manage to get the freezer sorted, then you can relax and chill out ( Ouch, apologies for the Christmas cracker style joke!:o)Rising, enjoy your fridge and your post made total sense to me too BTW.
