Another spend day for me today. But it should be the last one for a while as today was my last day off work until New Years Eve.:(
In fact tomorrow, Christmas Day and Boxing Day are 12 hour shifts. Just hoping it won't be manic!:(DFW Nerd 1394.

NSD #10 for me here in Fresian Towers as I've rescheduled my plans for drinkies until tomorrow. That's my target reached for the month too
I've spent all day tidying, hoovering
and cleaning
for the arrival of some friends (and their rugrats) tonight, so although the house looks lovely now, it's not going to last :rotfl:

Well,I'm on days off now (don't go back to work until Wednesday),and have stayed in all day, pottering around in my inimitable way.Fortuanately I've also managed to fit in some housework and baking.
I only nipped out to get the post.Very naughty as I meant to go for a walk.I might go out yet...
Anyway,I've bagged #11.
Have a good evening and Merry Christmas to you all!

Happy new fridge freezer rising :j
Thank you:D a bit ridiculous being so happybut it has been pretty awful without one.
It's the first (biggish) thing I can remember buying since I got into debt (around 20 years ago when I left home:o) that I've actually managed to pay for without getting into more debt.:)
Even though it's wiped me out totally (budgeting skills still need a lot of work), it's quite satisfying as I'm not worrying about where the money's going to come from to pay for it..... and I think I actually appreciate it more as I've paid for it with "real money" rather than just sticking it on the end of a huge cc balance - if that makes any sort of sense!:oGrocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

Debt free & determined to stay that way!0 -
Makes lots of sense to me rising.
I got a new to me fridge a wee while ago and was so so pleased as I couldent afford a new one.
So currently looking for a freezer.
To think in days gone by all I worried about was whether they matched  :rotfl:I am a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Mortgage Free Wannabe & Local Money Saving Scotland & Disability Money Matters. Good evening all! been full of busy in my other life for a few days, but all Christmas shopping, prezzy wrapping and house preparations are done. The dreaded 4000 word university assignment is finished and bound up ready to hand in in January. DD and her boyfriend came for lunch and prezzy swapping yesterday, other family coming between Christmas and New Year for a couple of days so Christmas itself will be just me, OH and DS. Chilled, no stress, meals all planned, probably the happiest Christmas for years (hope I haven't put the mockers on it by saying that!)
NSD-wise I am on a humble 5 but have no need to go near a shop for a few days so there should be no excuse.
So, NSD gang, let's crack open the bubbly, pull a cracker, stick Slade on the gramophone and who's brought the cheesy pineapples? One life - your life - live it!0 -
So currently looking for a freezer.
I'm thinking about getting rid of mine Beanie as we have a massive fridge freezer anyway and there's only two of us since the Evil Flatmate left, so we don't really need that much space. If you could use it ping me a PM and we can work out how to get it to you0 -
Evening all...
Sneaking in to report nsd #5 which means that I have reached my target.
AND my sister finally had her baby this morning so I'm a very proud auntie again.
Hopefully can rack up a few more nsds between now and new year.Ninja Saving Turtle0
