Can 2 Kindles be linked to the same account?

Options
Evening All

I have a kindle already and have bought one for my husband but we generally use the same laptop (due to the dog having eaten the cable for DH's!), can I load books onto his Kindle ready for Christmas by linking it to my account or will the same books that I have be added to his Kindle?

Mine is called Mrs Kindle so surely there is a way to call DH's one something else and Amazon will be able to differentiate?

I have no kindles , but I have 3 pc's linked to the amazon kindle account and a mobile phone, I can download what I have purchased on any and all of them I hope this helps. Mine are called DebitsPhone DebitsLappy DebitsNetty and DebitswifesPC . If you have two amazon accounts 1 each then I don't know but it should still work.

  • Yes, we have 2 kindles on my amazon account as we both read most of the books we buy.
If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.

    Hello,

"You can have up to 6 Kindles registered to the same account, and books may be shared amongst them. The catch is that they all must be on the same account, and all must use the same credit card for purchases."

    :)
