Ukpc / debt recovery plus

Has anyone had any recent dealings with this outfit!? I had a PCN from them in March for parking in an area I believed belonged to a local pub - I was collecting my daughter from there after she had met friends for lunch - the area wasn't signed and I have photographs to prove this - the company have since put signage were i parked - photographs taken in September show these which I feel back up my arguement that the area was inadequately signed. Numerous letters/ demands have been exchanged and now this company have resorted to phone calls threatening further action. I have been seriously ill and this company added to my daughters stress by their handling of this matter whilst I was in hospital undergoing extensive surgery. I have complained to the BPA but it doesn't look as if they have much power over these companies. I am insisting that I will only pay if a court ruling makes me as a matter of principle - only hope principles don't cost me as I see on Debt Recovery Plus that they have had successful CCJ's! (or so they claim) Oh well they're still not going to coerce me into paying without it going to court.

    Tons of threads about UKPC.

Have you not read the sticky threads at the top of this forum yet? If not then you have missed the fact this is all a scam and you are taking it too seriously.

Watch the Watchdog clip on 'welcome, please read before posting' and also look at the DRP letter-chain on the top thread 'PPC letters, what to expect'. Stickies are at the top when you view this sub-forum - see my signature, you just have to click on the blue > link above, at the top, to get back to the whole forum view.

We've all had these letters or something like them. Just ignore them and ignore the BPA who are their 'club', not a regulator of any sort.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

They're not parking cases. Neither UKPC or Debt Recovery Plus have ever taken court action of a parking case.

The only way to stop the phone calls is to a) b*llock them down the phone or b) tell them you've just moved in and they need to talk to the previous tenant.
