Hi All,
Im looking to buy 2 cheap laptops (one for mum and dad) all they will use it for is internet, word processing and watching the odd video/movie and maybe picture editing but nothing major.
I know you can get good laptops for cheap and i didnt want to spend anymore really then £280 each.
Anyway i found this on DABS
http://www.dabs.com/products/toshiba-satellite-pro-c660-1v0-celeron-t3500-4gb-320gb-15-6--windows-7-home-premium-64-bit-laptop-7HMD.html
Its £339 but £75 cashback so £264.
Can anyone suggest why this laptop wouldnt be perfect for what im after?
Thanks in Advance
Alex

Bigpockets has some good deals on if you don't mind refurbs.
The dabs one is more than powerful enough.
If you don't want to mess about with cashback deals then bestbuy has some decent offers on, unless you're the type who has to have an x years warranty

Not the fastest machine in the world, but decent enough everywhere else, good 4+ hours battery and well built. With its radeon 6000 chipset it will even play back any HD video you throw at it.
Use code BBY to get it for £270. Pay by credit card if you want piece of mind.0 -

I would have thought that was more than OK. Good price with cashback.
My son got a i3 - 2310 or 2510 and 500Gb for £350 couple of months with cash back linked to the Rugby World Cup result. He got £49 quid sent through today:)"If you act like an illiterate man, your learning will never stop... Being uneducated, you have no fear of the future.".....
