  • Or do you do business banking
    Can I find out my credit score?
    You do not have a single credit score or rating. Different organisations take different information into account when working out your credit score and may have different scores for different products. (Kindly from Experian)

    This was my first sign on with Halifax so it was the time when I setup my memorable details. The wording has not appeared since. I do remember however visiting the Halifax home page first and then clicking the "OLB" icon.
  • I got this reply to a tweet sent to them asking:
    @Halifax_Online Halifax_Online
    @S_W_S Hi it's PW. We don't use token devices to access the Halifax site, if anyone has concerns, they would need to contact us directly.

    Thanks for that. At least now I know I'm not going nuts or need to change my password!

    Bad: Halifax STILL have not replied to my message considering this message. It seems that you need to phone them for anything you need or want. Not like Nationwide or First Direct when you can send secure messages in the middle of the night and get them actioned the next day.

    Have things changed recently? In my (not very recent) experience I have been lucky to get a reply from Nationwide the next week!

    They promise a response in 48hrs .... on their auto reply. On the few occasions I've needed to contact them - they've met that.

    Maybe they don't know how to answer my question? I got the auto-reply, but nothing further.

    On the Plus side, I got my free £5 today for putting 1K in on Nov 31st :D Account is less than a week old!

    So today I withdrew £1005 and put it into a Halifax Online Saver (2.8%). My higher rate savings all need upto 3 days to transfer funds, so this'll be my instant savings account.

    Don't suppose I can use this account to put the next 1K in?

    If you move the £1k from the Online Saver to the Reward Current Account now, and then move it straight back again, you will have achieved December's funding requirements.

    £5 early January will be yours.

    Then the other 59 minutes of the hour are for other uses!
