    Hello ms2005

I'll move your thread to the 'Travel, Trips & Holidays' board, where it should get more views and responses.

Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere(please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. (I've been researching hotel rooms today!) Not sure of your price range but found this site quite good - http://www.visitlondonoffers.com/

We always use https://www.laterooms.com. You can search by geographical area and then by * ratings.

    Have a good time.

My husband always uses priceline for hotels in London. He uses the name your price function. Puts in Knightsbridge, 4* and usually £50/60 (because he knows there are lots of 4* hotels in the area).
He always seems to get a room at this price. This is mid week though so I don't know if it will be the same at the weekend.
Look after the pennies and the £££s will look after themselves

I like the idea of Priceline.com but I'm a bit concerned. I know you can choose which area of London the hotels are in but what I really want to know is how far away or close to the Underground they are. I don't mind a short walk (up to about 10 minutes) but don't want to be walking round London late at night. Has anyone used this site before? Any information would be appriciated.
