Hello ms2005
I'll move your thread to the 'Travel, Trips & Holidays' board, where it should get more views and responses.
Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere(please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. If you have any questions about this policy please email abuse@moneysavingexpert.com.

(I've been researching hotel rooms today!) Not sure of your price range but found this site quite good - http://www.visitlondonoffers.com/"Cheap", "Fast", "Right" -- pick two.0

We always use https://www.laterooms.com. You can search by geographical area and then by * ratings.

My husband always uses priceline for hotels in London. He uses the name your price function. Puts in Knightsbridge, 4* and usually £50/60 (because he knows there are lots of 4* hotels in the area).
He always seems to get a room at this price. This is mid week though so I don't know if it will be the same at the weekend.Look after the pennies and the £££s will look after themselves0 -
I like the idea of Priceline.com but I'm a bit concerned. I know you can choose which area of London the hotels are in but what I really want to know is how far away or close to the Underground they are. I don't mind a short walk (up to about 10 minutes) but don't want to be walking round London late at night. Has anyone used this site before? Any information would be appriciated.0
