The only legitimate Bands out there are for the Yellow Lance Armstrong foundation. These are for Cancer awareness and the point is not only to raise money for the charity but also to raise awareness of the illness and also offer support to those currently battling the disease. "www.laf.org"
The problem is that everyone has jumped on the band wagon. Support overpaid footballer bands and all that keek.0 -
How are the Lance Armstrong ones the only legitimate bands out there?! There are pink ones for breast cancer, white ones for make poverty history, blue ones for beat bullying, and tsuanmi ones too - and more. Someone should get their facts right before making statements.dvoodoo wrote:The only legitimate Bands out there are for the Yellow Lance Armstrong foundation. calm down JPS! LOL!

dvoodoo, IMO the armbands are just a craze at the moment and i'm actually on the fence re re-selling the charity ones but as far as the other ones are concerned you can't really fault people for 'jumping on the bandwagon' its what ebay is all about isnt it? selling things that people want???
When I was a lass 'dummies' (plastic ones) were the fashion (from Take That) or Grolsh bottle tops on your shoes (Bros)... okay I'm giving away my age now but if ebay had been around then I'm sure there would have been plenty selling these items on ebay! If there is demand for the stuff then wheres the harm....??Official DFW Nerd 210
