BT Credit Card

I need to do my own research on this I know but I wondered if anyone has the answer.

I've had this card for a few years and it gives me monthly cashback in the form of a credit towards my BT 'phone bill. Last year I realised that the cashback stops for two months out of the twelve and the card people said that I could easily reapply for a new card that would give me the cashback for twelve months, rather than 10. But I'm wondering if the % figure is the same. i.e. do you get the same % cashback on the 'old' 10 monthly deal as you do on the new 12 monthly one?

Thanks.
