I have just updated Avast to verson 6.0.1367, after which I went to update Malwarebyte's. Normally this takes seconds, but it's taking aaaggggeeees......has been at it now for well over half an hour, with several bouts of "program not responding".....and is still only at 48%
I've also found that Firefox pages are taking much longer to load too!! Is it just me, or are other people having problems too? If so, any advice to rectify any conflicts would be very much appreciated. Thank you.

Looks like it's a Malewarebyte's problem!!
I just recieved this message:-
"An error has occurred. Please report this error code to our support team.
PROGRAM_ERROR_UPDATING(0,0,Incomplete transfer)"
Do I email them (Malwarebyte's) about this as I am not a forum member? TIA

Thanks dogmaryxx! I found that thread, and emailed Malwarebyte's support team before I found your response.I managed to delete the "rules.ref." file....but not via the suggested route...couldn't find my Documents and Settings, and when I
"- Next, uncheck the box next to Hide protected operating system files (Recommended)
- Then, uncheck the box next to Hide extensions for known filetypes "
But managed to do the delete in a round about manner, and problem solved!!
