I am Jwil, though now I am using it as a rough guide and calorie counting nstead as I find it a bit more flexible. I think the guide is to continue with extra easy but add in another HEA (the dairy one). The idea is to maintain rather than lose. Are you doing it too? We seem to be sisters!0

This post is going to be full of mixed emotions & a mixed lot of good/bad news.
Firstly I managed to make some reasonably good sized payments this month totalling £122.
103 - £1748/£3566
We finally completed on the purchase of our flat on 31st July so that means we now have a mortgage for £68k.
Some of you may recall that I was going to have to increase my debt further by including a loan which my dad had given me for my half of the deposit, something I was going to add once the deposit had actually gone through and been taken from my account.
The bad/sad news is that my dad passed away suddenly at the beginning of this month after a short illness.
Jwil, if it's ok with you, I will continue to document my progress clearing my c/card debts while we sort out his estate, but once it's sorted I'm unsure of what to do regarding my participation with this challenge, as it's possible that I will be able to clear my debts (with the exception of the mortgage). That's something to worry about at a later date though and I'm not in any hurry to leave all you fellow challengers just yet!£12k in 2019 #084 £3000/£3000

Twiggy, my thoughts are with you. I lost my Mum last month as well and know exactly how you feel. Life just kind of stops. I know I am still trying to carry on debt busting but it has been very difficult. Not much money left over from Mum's estate after paying everything so I am just plodding on
. *Hugs*

Thanks Millionaire, sorry to hear of your loss also. It's a stressful time isn't it, you just don't realise how much until you're in those shoes. However, keeping busy and sorting out all the things that have to be done is what is keeping me going so far... x£12k in 2019 #084 £3000/£3000
